Ovumia Tallinn / Nova Vita Clinic is a contractual partner of the Estonian Health Insurance Fund. For women up to and including 40 years of age (who have a medical indication for infertility treatment and who hold Estonian Health Insurance Fund coverage, artificial insemination is reimbursed by the Estonian Health Insurance Fund.
Reimbursement covers the infectious disease tests required during the IVF treatment cycle, visits to the doctor and midwife, medications, ultrasound examinations, and the initial blood test to confirm pregnancy (hCG). All subsequent pregnancy-related visits, ultrasound examinations, and tests are subject to a fee.

The response will include a brief interpretation of the results. A comprehensive interpretation of the semen analysis will be provided during a consultation by a treating physician or andrologist, with whom you can schedule an appointment if necessary. We do not discuss test results over the phone.

Biopsy is the most gentle and almost painless method for taking an endometrial sample. The procedure is performed using a thin probe, and the aspirate from the uterine cavity is sent for histological examination.
The examination is performed during a visit to an infertility doctor. The examination lasts 15–20 minutes, including preparation. During the examination, you may feel slight discomfort and slight pain.
The sample is tested for important immunological markers, including the presence of uterine natural killer (NK) cells, chronic CD138+ plasma cells (a marker of chronic endometritis), regulatory T cells, and the presence of the endometriosis-related marker BCL6.
The examination helps identify possible causes that may affect embryo attachment and the course of pregnancy, such as immune imbalances, chronic inflammation, or endometrial dysfunction.
Based on the results, specific treatment is recommended, if necessary, before continuing with infertility treatment procedures.
