Many of our patients come to Ovumia due to of long waiting times, age limits in public fertility care, such as the age limit of 40 years, or because they wish to proceed with treatment on a more individual schedule. You may also wish to discuss your situation in a calm setting, receive a second medical opinion, or continue treatment at a pace that better fits your life situation.
No. In most cases, all examinations carried out in public fertility care, laboratory results such as semen analysis and blood tests, and other fertility treatment investigations can be used at Ovumia, provided that they are still up to date. This allows us to consider the work already done and plan the next steps of your treatment individually according to your situation.
Previous examinations and treatment information: Request your patient records, examination results and any treatment summaries from public healthcare before your first appointment. You can also give our specialists permission to review your treatment history through the Kanta service.

This allows the doctor to familiarise themselves with your situation in advance and plan the continuation of treatment while taking previous examinations into account.
