Embryo implantation support

Successful embryo implantation is one of the most delicate and crucial stages of fertility treatment. At Ovumia, our role is to create the best possible conditions for this to occur. We focus on both embryo quality and the receptivity of the uterus, with the aim of maximising the chances of implantation and the start of pregnancy.

Laboratory methods to support embryo implantation

In our laboratory, we use well-established methods that support the delicate interaction between the embryo and the uterus.

EmbryoGlue: This is a transfer medium rich in hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. It can act as a supportive “bridge” between the embryo and the uterine lining and may help the embryo attach more effectively during the initial stages of implantation.

GM-CSF (Growth Factor): This is a natural protein that can be added to the culture medium to support early embryo development. This approach may be particularly beneficial in cases where embryo development has previously been slow or where there is a history of recurrent miscarriages.
