Jaana Seikkula

I became a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2014 and completed additional training in Reproductive Medicine in 2016. I earned my PhD in 2019 with a dissertation focusing on frozen embryo transfers. My clinical work has primarily focused on the treatment of infertility patients and endometriosis.

Areas of expertise

• I have extensive expertise in the diagnosis, medical management, and advanced surgical treatment of endometriosis.

Background

• Through international clinical placements in Belgium and France, I have gained broad insight into the surgical challenges associated with infertility treatment. I have also developed extensive experience in the hysteroscopic diagnosis and treatment of uterine abnormalities.

Since 2017, I have been responsible for the infertility and endometriosis clinic at Sairaala Nova. Since 2026, I have been a member of the endometriosis team at HUS Women's Hospital.
At Ovumia, I have worked part-time in Jyväskylä.
