Hello, I am Anu, and I work as a sex therapist at Ovumia Kuopio. I graduated as a midwife in 2002 and as a sex therapist (NACS) in 2007. I am a clinically specialized professional in mental health, trauma, and crisis work, and I have further strengthened my expertise through studies in emotionally focused couples therapy.
My career has consisted of diverse work in midwifery, sex therapy, and sexual violence support services. At Ovumia, I primarily focus on donor gamete counselling and sex therapy. I find my work meaningful, as I have the opportunity to meet clients in different life situations and to support them through even the most challenging questions. It is important to me that, as a client, you feel heard and genuinely met. You are welcome to attend my appointments either on your own or together with your partner.
