Planning appointment
At your treatment planning appointment, you will meet with both a doctor and a nurse.
Appointment with the doctor
During the consultation, our doctor will recommend the treatment option that is most suitable for your individual situation. You will receive information about your treatment plan, including medication, timing, how the treatment is carried out, expected outcomes and possible risks.
If preimplantation genetic testing of embryos is planned as part of your treatment, such as PGT-A, niPGT-A, PGT-M or PGT-SR, your doctor will explain how the testing is performed. You will then be offered a separate counselling appointment with one of our embryologists.
After the doctor’s appointment, you will meet with our nurse
Our nurse will provide detailed instructions for your medication, including guidance on injections, timing and the availability of prescribed medicines. You will also have the opportunity to discuss any practical questions about how your treatment will proceed.
During the planning appointment, you can sign the treatment consent forms. These can also be signed electronically. Any legally required infection screening blood tests may also be taken during the visit.
