Ovulation induction

Ovulation is one of the key factors for a successful pregnancy. If the egg does not mature and release naturally, this process can be supported with medical treatment, called ovulation induction or follicle stimulation therapy. In ovulation induction, the goal is to help the egg mature and ovulate so that fertilization can occur naturally, either through intercourse or insemination.

Insemination

Artificial insemination is one of the most common and mild fertility treatments. During insemination, sperm is placed directly into the uterus with a thin catheter during ovulation. Fertilization takes place naturally in the woman’s body. It is often the first treatment option for mild male-related infertility or unexplained infertility, and it is also the most common treatment for single women and female couples.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF/ICSI)

IVF and ICSI are treatments for fertility where the egg is fertilized outside the body in a laboratory. This treatment method is the most effective in treating infertility. We utilize it when the chance of pregnancy with other treatment options is low. It is suitable for most causes of infertility and offers many couples and single women the best possibility of having a child.

Treatments with donated sperm

Treatments with donated sperm refer to fertility procedures that uses semen from an external, voluntary, and carefully screened donor. Before treatment begins, every patient receives donor gamete counselling, where legal, psychological, and ethical aspects are discussed in detail.

ROPA method

Among fertility treatments, the ROPA method (Reception of Oocytes from Partner) offers female couples a unique opportunity to share the experience of parenthood – both biologically and emotionally. With this method, eggs collected from one partner are fertilized with donor sperm, and the embryo is transferred to the partner who wishes to carry the pregnancy.

Frozen embryo transfer

Embryo freezing allows preservation of good-quality embryos for later use and increases the overall success of fertility treatments. Embryo freezing allows pregnancy attempts to be continued without new hormone stimulation or egg collection. With embryo diagnostics, embryos are always frozen so that diagnostics can be performed before the transfer of a known healthy embryo to the uterus.
