I am the Chief embryologist and group laboratory director at Ovumia Group. I'm responsible for developing, ensuring quality, and harmonizing all Ovumia laboratory practices. Gamete and embryo laboratories are at the core of fertility treatments. High quality, safety, and strong professional expertise are key factors in successful treatments and patient experience. 

It is important to me that every patient can trust that their embryos and gametes are in the best possible hands, regardless of which Ovumia clinic provides the treatment. High-quality embryology is based on meticulous processes, a skilled team, and continuous development, always prioritizing the patient.

Background: 

•  Over 20 years of experience in IVF laboratories and clinical embryology 
• Served as Laboratory Director at Ovumia Helsinki and currently as Chief embryologist and group laboratory director at Ovumia Group
• Previously worked in both public and private fertility units, involved in starting new laboratories and developing established operations 
• PhD in reproductive medicine and active in research and teaching 
•  ESHRE Senior Clinical Embryologist certification
