I am Kati, medical director at Ovumia Tampere. Fertility counseling is extremely important today. Through assisted reproduction treatments, we help our patients individually with the most advanced and effective methods to achieve pregnancy.

I have worked as a physician for about 30 years. I qualified as a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology in 2004 and obtained a subspecialty in reproductive medicine in 2009. I earned my PhD in 2011 with a dissertation on the effects of hormone therapy and calcium supplementation on morbidity and mortality in postmenopausal women. This research deepened my expertise in hormone replacement therapy.
I have worked as a specialist and trainee at Kuopio University Hospital from 2001 to 2009, then as a fertility doctor at AVA Clinic Tampere (2009–2013), Fertinova Tampere (2013–2015), and at Ovumia Tampere since 2015. Since 2019, I have served as medical director at Ovumia Tampere.
