Hanna Haapanen

Hello, I am Hanna, a midwife and IVF nurse at Ovumia. Working as an IVF nurse is very important to me – especially supporting egg donors, which has been close to my heart for 8 years. I meet donors, recipients, and clients involved in treatments individually and respectfully. My work is versatile and challenging, combining strong professional expertise, careful guidance, and client interaction. Fertility treatments constantly offer opportunities to learn and do meaningful work during important moments in people’s lives.

Background: 

• Graduated as a midwife in December 2002 
• Worked at Kätilöopisto for 12 years: six years in the delivery ward and six years in the gynecology outpatient clinic 
• Moved to fertility treatments in January 2016, first at Fertinova, later Ovumia
