I’m Antti, the Medical Director at Ovumia. Infertility is a significant challenge and burden for both women and men. Men play an important role in achieving pregnancy, and therefore also in choosing and implementing the right effective treatments. Although infertility treatment often focuses primarily on the woman, it is crucial to assess and, if necessary, optimize the man's fertility to ensure the success of the treatment.

Background:       

• I worked as the head physician of the infertility unit at Turku University Hospital for nearly 15 years. At the same time, I was the lead physician of the gynecology outpatient clinic.       
• I have been training infertility doctors for over 20 years. I’m an Associate Professor of Reproductive Medicine and have supervised about half a dozen doctoral theses.
