During your first visit, you will meet with a fertility doctor to receive an assessment based on your individual circumstances prior to any potential treatment. To ensure you get the full benefit of your first visit with us, there are a few things we would like you to complete beforehand. We ask that you fill out our digital health declaration form well in advance. This allows our fertility specialists to prepare and tailor the meeting to your specific needs and wishes.
If you have undergone previous treatments or examinations at other clinics, we would be grateful if you could share relevant documents so that we can gain a comprehensive overview of your treatment history. Prior to the first visit, you are also encouraged to provide blood samples to measure factors such as your ovarian reserve (AMH).
You will receive more information regarding these preparations during your phone call with one of our registered midwives.
At your first visit, you will be welcomed by one of our doctors specializing in fertility. If you are seeking treatment as a couple, we strongly recommend that both partners attend the first visit together.
During the visit, you will go through the results of your fertility assessment. Sometimes it may be necessary to supplement the investigation with further examinations; if so, the doctor will inform you about this. Any previous treatments, illnesses, and current medications will also be discussed. The doctor will perform a gynecological examination with an ultrasound to examine the uterus and ovaries.
If you choose to start treatment with us, an appointment will also be scheduled with one of our midwives. They will provide further information about the upcoming planning in a calm environment and go through the various stages of the process step by step.
